Learn to make and glaze​ ceramics

Experience hand building, wheel throwing or slab rolling with clay, then develop your stoneware pieces through glazing and firing. The course fee includes tuition in groups of two or three, plus use of tools, equipment and clay in the studio at Halls Gap. Glazing and firing is charged for finished pieces.

Monday mornings
10:00 am to 12:00 noon; 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 May and 7 June.

Monday afternoons
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm; 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 May and 7 June.

Monday evenings
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm; 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 May and 7 June.

Wednesday evenings
7:15 pm to 9:15 pm; 5, 12, 19 & 26 May and 2 & 9 June.

Six week courses  include basic clay and use of tools and equipment. They are currently priced at $230.  Glazing and firing charges apply for finished pieces, and there may be additional costs for specialist or premium clays.
